CFS Joins Forces with Howden Group – 9th April 2025

Following a review of our long-term strategy, the directors of CFS have agreed to an acquisition of the firm by the Howden Group, subject to Central Bank of Ireland approval. Howden is one of the largest privately owned insurance brokers in the world, with over 18,000 employees across 55 countries. From our first conversations with them through to this agreement, we’ve been genuinely impressed by their culture and ethos. We believe they are a great fit for CFS, and, most importantly, for our clients.

This partnership gives us the backing of a strong international broker, allowing us to enhance and broaden our client offering while maintaining the personal service and relationships that are so important to us.
